Our Approach to Sustainability 2009

GVA Grimley is working in partnership with our clients and business partners, to pursue positive sustainabile solutions at every stage of the property cycle. We are the first property adviser to provide training to our teams to become BREEAM Assessors and we are the first adviser to have a dedicated green team that is drawn across all areas of the business. From Green to Gold Autumn 2008

This is our second survey of the UK’s leading investor attitude’s towards sustainable commercial property investment. Since our first survey in Summer 2007, the backdrop has changed significantly. The investment boom has turned to bust and the outlook for the economy and occupier demand is markedly weaker. Energy Performance Certificates have been introduced for buildings new to the market, and sustainability has moved further up the corporate agenda for both investors and occupiers.
