By Air:
Manchester Airport is situated 9 miles to the South of the City Centre with a regular rail and bus service into the City.
By Rail:
Manchester Piccadilly Station provides a regular fast rail service to London, the Midlands and the South as well as North to Glasgow and West to Liverpool. Manchester Victoria provides rail links East to Leeds. Manchester's Light Rapid Transit System 'Metrolink' has stops 300 metres away in St Peter's Square and at the northern end of Mosley Street which link each mainline station and outlying areas in Greater Manchester. Fountain Street is a 10/15 minute walk from either mainline station: From Piccadilly Station head down Station Approach and keeping on the right hand side go past Piccadilly Gardens and turn left crossing over the tram lines onto Mosley Street, turn right into Spring Gardens and left into Fountain Street. From Victoria Station walk down Hunts Bank, turn right onto Corporation Street, left onto Market Street, then right into Fountain Street.
By Road:
The M56 from the South West, M62/M602 from the West, M61 and M66 from the North and M62 and M57 from the East are the main arterial routes servicing the City, connecting with the M60 motorway ring road shortly to be completed. Fountain Street is a one way street connecting Nicholas Street/Booth Street to Charlotte Street/Spring Gardens, with Cooper Street being one way in the opposite direction connecting to Princess Street, which runs alongside Manchesterís Town Hall. There is limited pay and display on street parking available, but ample public car parks within a 5/10 minute walk.
