Centrica's new 111,080 sq ft (10,320 sq m) flagship office building at Swallowfield One, Wolverhampton Road, Oldbury has been sold in an off-market transaction by Tritax Assets Ltd on behalf of 39 private investors, to DB Real Estate Spezial-Invest GmbH, on behalf of one of their open-ended funds open to institutional investors.

GVA Grimley Manchester has secured detailed planning consent for the redevelopment of the maintenance yard at Giggleswick School. Planning permission and Conservation Area Consent was approved in February to demolish units on the maintenance yard, which will make way for an extension to one of the existing buildings. The remaining area of the 0.7acre site will be sold to a developer to build seven residential units.
